In-tend Procurement Services deliver bid writing assistance for a wide range of industries and services. We have seen a steady increase in clients requiring our services therefore we are looking to expand our team and are welcoming applications for an experienced bid writer who will become an active member of the Procurement Services department, reporting to the head of department.
We are seeking an experienced, highly competent, dynamic and proven bid writer to work within our team. The successful candidate will liaise with the client to get accurate, high quality information to develop and add further weight to initial draft answers to Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Invitation to Tenders (ITTs). The role by its very nature is subject to tight deadlines requiring a high degree of coordination, planning, multi tasking and time management. Therefore the ability to produce accurate, specific, highly professional responses either stand alone or as part of a bid team is vital.
In this role you will need excellent writing skills and the ability to check work thoroughly. You will need to liaise with people of all levels and to be an excellent communicator. The majority of our clients are responding to tenders issued by Public Sector organisations therefore experience of Public Sector procurement processes and regulations is essential.
In addition to bid writing assistance the role will also involve delivering workshops aimed at suppliers who wish to understand more about how they can improve bid writing and become more successful at winning contracts. We run several sessions each month throughout the country therefore the successful candidate must be confident to speak in front of a small audience and be prepared to travel regularly as required within the UK.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm. There will be occasions when travel is required so ideally you will hold a drivers license and have use of a vehicle.
