What Is a PQQ?
PQQs are Pre Qualification Questionnaires and are time consuming forms which are generated when a tender is produced. Most of the sector’s questions are the same when forming a PQQ but are often not in the same order. Currently, there is no standard form, which results in each individual tender being sent as an entirely separate document, and equates to millions of individual PQQs being formed and populated.
To avoid this waste of resources when forming PPQs, we can apply part standardization and central repository and extraction capability to the sequence of events. We are currently customizing our software and hardware to enable a centralized system where PQQs can be drawn from on demand.
In-Tend is in a great position to provide this service as we already have in excess of 40,000 suppliers and hundreds of buyers who are frequent users within our sector. Our modification of the software has been proven time after time, and our suppliers all agree that NPQQ is the way forward.
Stage one - At present there are two live stages in operation and a 3rd stage in development due to the high demand of this NPQQ service.
The first stage is the FREE registration of your company details and the completion of the miniature PQQ – this enables your company to be visible on the In-Tend PQQ database green flagged showing you are good for work up to £20,000.
Stage two - The 2nd stage is in more depth This means a larger PQQ to complete and the provision of documents too which would be checked and passed by an outside independent verifier. There will also be a level of basic audit through outside companies such as Equifax. This is a deeper process and once completed would put your company into a second area with a green flag denoting ‘Verified PQQ Up To £100k’.
For Public Sector buyers this means the ‘risk’ which is a major part of public procurement, is becoming drastically reduced and as such would be the perfect opportunity for them to pull suppliers off the National PQQ Database who have been verified to a higher value. This also allows you to Upload Documents and receive email prompts for when documents are going out of date This can be a true management tool for your documentation.

Stage three - We will be offering a 3rd stage for suppliers looking to become approved for business over £100k. We will make contact soon regarding this stage to anyone who has completed the 2nd stage process.
